Rashtriya Loktantrik Party
The Rashtriya Loktantrik Party was founded on 29 October 2018 by Hanuman Beniwal, a Jat leader and former MLA from Nagaur district, Rajasthan, to mobilise Jat-caste and farmer political interests in the state. The party contested the 2019 Lok Sabha election as part of the BJP-led NDA, with Beniwal winning the Nagaur seat; it also won 3 seats in the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly election. Beniwal broke away from the NDA in 2020 over farm-law protests and agrarian issues, aligning the party with the opposition INDIA bloc ahead of the 2024 general election, in which he again won Nagaur.
